Cardboard corrugating and cutting machine
While even up to a few years ago cardboard could be manufactured in large batches, today multiple order changes are required daily. At up to 100 format changes per shift, for economical reasons the corrugating and cutting plants can only be reset with the machine running. In order to minimize waste - at a machine speed of 250 m/minute this would be four meters per second - the format change must be executed in less than one second.
The Challenger at PETERS Maschinenfabrik GmbH uses MODAK600, whose dynamic control resets the 72 axles for 18 blades and 48 corrugators in seconds.
Universal cutting machine with plasma cutter
The universal cutting machine used at HAP Handhabungs- Automatisierungs-Präzisionstechnik GmbH executes complex furnace pipe sections using a plasma cutter. The tool path, the contour section, cut and discharge, placing, speed and simulation are all selected at the monitor in the control cabinet.
Contact lens lathe for high precision and surface quality
This precision lathe used at JENOPTIK Technologie GmbH can turn spherical and aspherical bodies of plastic or light metal with the aid of Cartesian or polar coordinates. One MOCON with path control ensures the numerical control of the lathe and allows the precise generation of the curved contour.
Cylinder head milling machine
The cylinder head milling machine mills the front of the four, five and six cylinder engines and the side of the cylinder to the required height. The control system was supplied directly by EEW GmbH to South Africa. There the path routes were programmed and the machine put into operation in a single day.
One MOCON positions the three axles of this system used to mill Daimler Benz cylinder heads in South Africa.
