Pallet conveyor system for freight dispatch
Manitec Consulting AG plans and realizes pallet conveyor systems for freight dispatch such as used, for example, at Zürich airport. The pallets with the freight are stored in this high bay warehouse system until they are ready to be further dispatched.
Order picking system for book dispatch
The logistic and material flow system for a major mail order company was also planned and realized by Manitec Consulting AG. The books are sorted into boxes from the warehouse in accordance with the orders and these are then distributed on wagons traveling at a speed of 5 m per second – right up to the loading of the vehicles.
MACS2 controls the Manitrac wagons
The MACS2 is ideal for these tasks, as the position can be corrected at full speed thereby balancing the tolerances of the high-bay shelving units. Dynamic S-ramps, the high acceleration and high speed of the MACS ensure that the wagons arrive at the shelving compartments as fast as possible without having to speed up or slow down.
